Changing Homeless Lives One Room at a Time

A LOTTA LOVE is an all-volunteer team dedicated to remaking and maintaining homeless shelter rooms to be welcoming, safe, comforting spaces for the people who need them.

We are proud to announce the completion of our latest project in Orange County, Lotta's Place.  In partnership with The Compass Center, we have fully furnished a a safe house for women escaping abuse and domestic violence.  Watch the video on our Change A Life page

The A Lotta Love team works with shelters that provide housing, food, and support to the underserved, underprivileged, and underrepresented.  We've learned through our projects that success starts with listening to each other's needs.  We all have the privilege to rise by lifting others -- someone's income or housing or job or color of skin has nothing to do with the amount of dignity they deserve.  Let's work together to make change in our communities.

We continue to work during the covid-19 crisis by providing "room kits" with decor plus essential linens & toiletries, remaking rooms in temporarily vacant shelters, and staying in constant contact with shelters about their immediate needs and long-term strategies.
